The National Museum of Art is located near the Cemetery of Reclaita. It is open to visitors for free. There are a large number of oil paintings and sculptures on display. Many of them are world famous works. The paintings of Rubens and Picasso are also displayed here. It is worth seeing.
The National Museum of Art is a paradise for estheticians. It has over thirty rooms and three-storey display cabinets. There are exhibits from all over the world from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. The museum's permanent exhibitions of Latin America and Argentina are on the first floor, and temporary exhibitions can be found throughout the building and in the galleries outside.
The National Museum of Art is a very famous Museum of Culture and Art in Buenos Aires. It is quite suitable for you to go with your partner. Some things are worth visiting. Unfortunately, the collection is flat. You can see some famous painters, such as Van Gogh and Monet, who are not well-known, lack inspired artistic creations like those in the Museum of Contemporary Art.
The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Buenos Aires’ National Museum of Fine Arts) houses, amongst others, a permanent collection of Argentine Art, dating from the late 19th century to the present day. The collection is particularly interesting because it covers a broad range of artistic styles, touching on impressionism, romanticism, cubism, minimalism, surrealism and post-impressionism, to name a few. There are works painted in watercolour, oils and acrylic, prints, drawings in ink and photographs which document significant moments of Argentine History. It’s one of the most interesting collections to discover on a visit to Argentina.
On a date here with my ex-fiance, someone randomly took our picture while we looked at art. That was my favorite moment. There are a lot of great sculptures and paintings. The museum is just so big that we couldn't get through it all before wanting to go home and take a nap.
This building was once Buenos Aires water-pumping station converted into a fantastic museum. There are over 12 thousand artistic works, but only 700 can be displayed at a time. Opened in 1932, this is one of the finest art museums in all of Latin America. I would strongly recommend that you pay them a visit while in Buenos Aires.
