The location of Retiro Park in the heart of Madrid is like the location of Central Park in the hearts of New Yorkers. There is a botanical garden, a peacock garden, a rose garden, and a French plant square in the park. There is also the Crystal Palace in the middle, which is a palace made entirely of glass, which is so beautiful. Different flowers bloom in different seasons. Personally, I like the charming aroma of elderberry blooming in June. Overall, this park is simply the lungs of Madrid, so the most expensive and wealthy area in the city center is right next to it. Everyone who comes to Madrid can come and visit if you have time!
Retiro is a very famous street town in Buenos Aires. There are no landmarks in this city that are worth visiting. The family came here during their last trip. They all liked it, so they recommended it this time. I.
Retiro is one of the best neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. In the 17th century it hosted a monastery and later on the country home (retiro) of Spanish governor Agustin de Robles. In the area where nowadays one can find Plaza Libertador General San Martin there used to be a slave market, a military fortress and a corrida arena. Today, Retiro is a pleasant area to walk around.
Great for long distance but terrible timing.
