Walking five minutes from the Obelisk to the Teatro colon, the third largest theatre in the world, it is said that the sound effect is perfect to the point of no more. The theatre is a typical Renaissance behemoth. There are countless columns in the marble corridor, such as statues, with dazzling gold foil. Giant auditorium with golden walls and red velvet carpets under its feet. Outside 2500 auditoriums, it can accommodate 1000 standing audiences. The theatre was built in the most powerful era of Argentina. The building materials are basically imported. For example, the handrails, pillars and steps are made of marble from different parts of Italy. It would be hard to imagine Argentina being so brilliant if it hadn't been here. Ticket price is 250 ARS / person, with English explanation every hour, tour time is 1 hour, open time is 9:00-17:00.
The Cologne Theatre is the highest level opera house in Argentina. It has a simple and typical Baroque style. The interior decoration of the theatre is luxurious and exquisite. The theatre works very well. Many classical orchestras or operas in Latin America and the world are staged here. The tickets are slightly expensive but worth visiting.
Visit Cologne Theatre. It's really shocking. Nowadays people can no longer make such great works. The Cologne Theatre is really beautiful. Unfortunately, the time is not right. I didn't hear the English-speaking guide. I wish I could take my mother and see a performance here one day.
The Cologne Theatre, the third largest opera house in the world after the Metropolitan Opera House in New York and the Milanella & Scara Theatre, is really very beautiful in Renaissance Italian architectural style. It has a complex feeling of warm zone architecture.
The world famous theatre, the Grand Theatre building, is located in the city center, can not miss the attractions!
One of the world's most renowned Opera Houses. It's a stone's through from my property, and I'm proud to say that we have hosted many of the artists who come to perform here. If you can't make a performance (it's internationally priced so expect at least $100 for a good seat), take the tour!
A short cab ride (or bus or subway) from the apartment, Teatro Colon is considered the prime jewel of architecture in Buenos Aires. It is ranked the third best opera house in the world by National Geographic, and is acoustically considered to be amongst the five best concert venues in the world. You can experience ballet, opera and symphonies. There are also guided tours available.
Nearby, the sculpture of justice of Argentine High People's Court is of unique significance, and the architecture outside is very distinctive.
