Located in the heart of down town Byron Bay, tired from a morning of trawling the shops I was desperately seeking a bite of hearty no fuss vegetarian- It is Byron Bay after all! I almost immediately stumbled upon this little gem, and it fit the bill perfectly. Generous servings of beautiful, authentic Indian inspired dhal, curries, mixed vegetables and salads. After arriving in Byron Bay, we asked someone to recommend us a salad bar and the guy said try &#39;The Cardamom Pod&#39; so we came here, and cant tell you how glad we are that we did... Small place but it has such a nice, relaxing &amp; calm feel to it. The clsssical Indian music is soothing to ears, smell of incense stick creates nice calming aura and the food itself is pleasure to all senses! NB: its a vegeterian/organic place but even if you are a meat lover, you would still love this place! #DoTry
