Atherton is located about 80 kilometers southwest of Cairns. It is a larger town on the Atherton Plateau, from which you can go to various attractions on the plateau, so the town is equivalent to a transfer station and a supply station. 1. Town There is a small town called Atherton at the intersection of National Highway 1 and KennedyHwy Road in northern Queensland, surrounded by the well-known Atherton Highlands. As of 2006, 7000 people lived in Atherton.
