Alberta’s largest city, Calgary, lies at the division between smooth prairie land and the jagged peaks of the Rocky Mountains, and for many travelers is the jumping off point to popular ski destinations such as Jasper and Banff. Or, you're part of the million plus cowgirls or cowboys who descend upon Calgary in July for the Calgary Stampede, the most famous rodeo in the world. For kids, the Telus World of Science Calgary, Calgary Zoo, Calaway Park (one of Canada’s largest amusement parks) and the Olympic Plaza won’t fail to impress. Couples can take advantage of the day strolling the beautiful grounds of the Prince’s Island Park and later grabbing tickets to a Calgary Flames hockey match in the Pengrowth Saddledome. The growth of Calgary has led to impressive hotel upgrades, and luxury digs are plentiful. Try a night at the theater; Calgary has a well-developed amateur and professional performing arts scene, or fall in the streets at one of Calgary’s myriad clubs or bars.
KlesisDidn’t get a chance to go up as we wanted to spend our money elsewhere like checking out the museums and dining at Top 100 restaurants in Canada located in Calgary; nonetheless, we still snapped a couple photos of this iconic tower
GLS***35Beautiful park right on the river, Princess Island hosts many festivals such as the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Shakespeare in the Park, Carifest, Canada Celebrations, Heritage day Celebrations, Afrikadey, Expo Latino, and Barbecue on the Bow
GLS***72If I could I'd give this a 6 out of 5. Truly amazing and my family all loved it. Right from the vintage cars at the gate this place enthrals. The volunteers in the historic roles all were wonderful, especially the saloon keeper and the fort trader. I learnt so much of the history of Alberta and Canada. Plenty to see, we spent 4 hrs and could have stayed longer. Also all the rides come included in the entry price and good value for money.
小思文This park is also a castle. The scale is not very large. The inside of the castle is very dark. There is an important sculpture riding a horse outside. It does not take much time to visit here. Customers feel a very strong atmosphere. Suitable for everyone to play, the scale before and after are very large.
jackie75It’s a certain distance from downtown Calgary. It’s about 20 minutes by car. I just went skiing today. It’s a large area, but it’s very orderly. There is a school that teaches skiing and you can take short-term crash courses.
This city just has something about it that always drags me back. It is just so interesting to visit all the museum's,art exhibits and just walk around this city. It has its own magic to it for being as large as it is.
sunset in Calgary city! my first ever trip to Canada and also experience real snow for the first time! really love it!
I don't know if the North has already entered the cold winter. The heavy snow is also one after another. As a child's paper in the south, it is full of excitement to see the thick snow.
How to wear warm and beautiful in the outdoor of 0 degrees, contribute a few tips:

There is nothing particularly worthwhile to visit in the city of Calgary, but it is a city that has landed in Albert, and most people who travel to Banff National Park come here. The whole city was very depressed. After a rainy evening, I didn't bring anything. I walked through the empty city for half an hour to go to a restaurant to eat. I especially liked this feeling, and my heart was full of maliciousness into the world of others. Calgary's airport is small, it is worth buying ice wine and maple syrup, and Yunling ice wine is much cheaper than domestic ones.
The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is located near Calgary in Western Canada. It is well known for the quality of it's academic programs, but the architecture of it's buildings is also impressive. Founded in 1916, you can see the historical significance of it's buildings and grounds. #happynewyear
## Go to Calgary to see the world's "most defeated bridge"
This Calgary Peace Bridge, which cost just 200 million yuan for just 126 meters, was just reviewed after it was completed in 2012. It became a "miracle of the world bridge engineering."
The reason is that there was a special requirement for building this bridge.
The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) was founded in 1916 and has great history, but it also showcases more modern sculptures and artwork on campus. It is almost like an outdoor modern museum. So much to see and appreciate, even if you are not a student their. #happynewyear
Calgary - Canada: Enjoy downtown Calgory by walking around. The highlighted one is “Calgory Tower” with about 190 meters high that we can see from anywhere in town. This is a town that we can drop by before going to Banff National Park and Jasper.
