Athos is the Guigantes in ancient Greek mythology. Like other Guigantes, he is the son of Uranos and Gaia. He threw a mountain at Zeus, was knocked down by Zeus near Macedonia, and became the holy peak of Mount Athos. And this place is in Turkey. Mountains and valleys are clustered, and the scenery is beautiful.
Before writing Assos, I didn't have a proper word to describe her until I searched for Assos photos on google earth and saw one of them titled Hidden Paradise---it was it. The most handy translation is "Xanadu", but when I think of Athos, hidden paradise is the most appropriate. Taoyuan and Heaven have similar intentions. The difference is the difference between Chinese and Western cultural philosophy. The history of Assos is quite long. It seems that a small city on the Mediterranean coast has a long history and culture.
