We chose to climb Ainsley Mountain from the war memorial, although you can also drive or bike to see it. Before you really go on the right path, you have to find the starting point of the road. This is a bit difficult because the road signs are not very good. We parked the car in front of the war memorial and walked up. This is a good road, some sections are quite steep. You want to make sure you bring enough water, because there is nothing to replenish along the way. Once and again, we spent nearly an hour and a half, including time to appreciate the scenery and take photos. Canberra is indeed a beautiful and well-planned city.
This is a good place to climb high, but to be honest, the view from the highest point is not very good, it is a very ordinary landscape, and some iconic things of Canberra cannot be seen.
I don't recommend it. It's really boring. The scenery on the mountain or under the mountain is very ordinary, and there is no city or natural scenery on it. It is a waste of time.
It's very bad. I advise you not to come here. You can neither see the natural beauty, nor the urban and cultural landscapes. I don't know why it became a scenic spot. So speechless.
