The Cangzhou Iron Lion is located in the southeast of Cangxian County. It is called "Zhenhai Roar" by the people. It was cast during the anniversary of the Five Dynasties. According to legend, the iron lion was built to prevent tsunami floods. It is the oldest and larger cast-iron lion in China. The iron lion is 5.78 meters tall, 5.34 meters long, and 3.17 meters wide. It is said to be the Manjusri Bodhisattva sitting on the back of a giant basin. The lion's body faces south and its head faces southwest. The two left feet are in front and the two right feet are behind, in a forward-looking posture. Majestic, swagger, and lifelike. In 1957, the competent department supplemented the toes, built a pool and built a pavilion, and there were iron fences around it. After the pavilion was built, the pavilion was demolished in 1972 because the iron lion could not see the sunlight and oxidized quickly. Now coming to the scenic spot, in addition to watching the towering and ancient iron lions, there is also a coin museum next to it, which can be visited together.
