Table Mountain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Table Mountain 🇿🇦
#summerbreak
One of the biggest attractions to do in Cape Town is to go up Table Mountain. It is one of the new 7 wonders of the world and is visible in most of the city.
You can hike the mountain, or take a cable car like we did. You can purchase a ticket at the base of the car and then enjoy the views on the way up. When you’re at the top, there are different walkways to take which gives different views of the city. There is also a restaurant, gift shop and free wifi at the top too #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer
Table mountain - One of the must visit sights
#wecreate
Table mountain is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever visited. Located in Cape Town, South Africa.
You can either hike up the mountain or take a cable car. Although the queue can be long, but it’s definitely worth it. The price for morning and afternoon ride is different. Round trip ride is for morning is around 390 rands. Do check out their website for most updated information. The view up there is definitely one of the most beautiful you can ever see
Table Mountain 🇿🇦
You can hike for 8hrs or pay around $6 to take the cable car up to the top of Table mountain!
Make sure you check the weather before you go because if it’s cloudy, you won’t be able to see anything!
I really enjoyed the most was the view and how friendly the birds were. There were also cute little plants growing in the cracks of the rocks.
There is a pub and a small restaurant as well as a gift shop on top of the mountain. There are bathrooms as well, but it’s quite smelly…
And one thing to be aware of is the little pests that sticks onto you! If you wear white, it will attract the little bugs😅

Table Mountain - A World Wonder
Table Mountain - the centrepiece, the marvel, the pinnacle of Cape Town tourism.
Globally famous and unmissable from anywhere around Cape Town, Table Mountain is must-visit when travelling.
Table Mountain is a floral kingdom and one of the natural Wonders of the World.
If you are looking for an easy and relatively fast way up the mountain, the Cableway is your best bet. Better yet, if you are looking to hike up to the top, Platteklip Gorge is the most direct route up to the top. Make sure that sensible hiking shoes are worn and always take a jacket and water.

South Africa 🇿🇦 Cape Of good hope
#thingstodo #southafrica
The most southern cape . Which is also known as cape of good hope . It got it name due to it bad weather and strong current , so sailor name it as cape of good hope to hope every thing was smooth while passing this area . Bear in mind a lot of waking is required. But the slight is really breath taking .. it is located inside a National park . And it close at 6pm . And no car is allow in car after ☀️ down
Cape of good hope
it is located in Capetown Southern Africa .It is considered as the most Southern part of Africa. Just a few minutes drive from Cape Point and the best thing to do (apart from taking lots of pictures) is to find a rocky mound, sit on it and just take in the sights of the waves crashing onto the surface, the smell of the salty seas and ponder on the meaning of life
#wintergetaway
what a fantastic 3 weeks, Motorcycle Tour through South Africa. All the wsy from Cape Town up to Victoria Falls. fantastic people, amazing views, fabulous food and great comradierie, cant wait for the Kunming to Lassa trip next year!
"World War" in the Cape of Good Hope! "The southernmost tip of Africa" is here!
I have said many times that the coolest moment in my trip is to see the place names on the geography books appear in front of me. When the names of places in both geography books and historical books appear at the same time, it is almost twice as cool. When you come to Cape Town, you can't go to see the old friend of "Good Hope".
Go to the Cape of Good Hope, we chose a special way to pull the wind - "classic car." Our driver's brother, Stanley, drove us in the car of the grandfather of the 1930s. Along the way, we talked about the language of South Africa, his Cape Town recommended, the maintenance of the classic car, so unhappy, a parking, also opened the hood, generously invited us to visit the interior of the classic car, they have 6 classic cars, really Enviable.
The Chapman Avenue to the Cape of Good Hope is known as the most beautiful road in the world. It is said that the mountain road is 18 bends. Her heroic bends out 114 big bends, one side by the side, one side by the sea, no wonder Advertising for all the top cars in Africa is done on this road! From 1915 to 1922, the road was made by prisoners along the cliffs to the west. Her birth was thanks to the first Chief Executive of the Cape Province, Sir Nicolas Frederick de Waal, who, with his unremitting efforts, was able to get the road that engineers thought could not be completed. Born.
The Cape of Good Hope is a Western explorer who wants to lead to the rich eastern waterway, so it was renamed the Cape of Good Hope. Before the Suez Canal was navigable, the ships between Asia and Europe passed the Cape of Good Hope. The tanker cannot enter the Suez Canal and still needs to sail. The explorer of the Kingdom of Portugal, Dias, discovered the Cape of Good Hope, because of the huge winds, so she called her storm corner. After returning to Lisbon in December 1488, he told Joao II that he had discovered the discovery. If Johann II thought that he would bypass this cape, he would hope to reach the dream of India, so he changed the name of "The Storm Corner" to "The Cape of Good Hope". .
The wood board that marks the geographical coordinates of the Cape of Good Hope is simply a battleground for the military. People of different nationalities and different nationalities are waiting for a series of latitude and longitude numbers! Then take the only commercial cable car in Africa up the mountain and overlook the entire Cape of Good Hope!
said that the cable car has an interesting "ghost story", the name of the cable car is Flying Dutchman (flying Dutchman), in 1641, the captain of the Dutch East India Company, compiled a ghost ship The story, this ghost ship can still not be destroyed even in the savage waves of the "storm corner", always driving until the world is destroyed. This story is hand-in-hand in the hands of the waters of various countries. It is hidden in the waves and fog of the Cape of Good Hope. The name of this ghost ship is called "Flying Dutchman."
After going up the mountain, you can walk up to the lighthouse built in 1849. This lighthouse can be said to be incompetent. Because it is covered with thick fog all the year round, it is impossible to guide the voyage ship. The viewing platform has become the perfect existence of murdering the film in front of the blue sky!
Visitors go to the Cape of Good Hope at most to the name of the southernmost tip of Africa and the two ocean interchanges, but this is just a beautiful misunderstanding. The southernmost tip of Africa is actually the Cape of Agulhas, 147 kilometers away from her, and the actual intersection of the two oceans is also in the middle of the two seas, not in the Cape of Good Hope, which is because of its important geography and history. Status has become an honorary representative.

Boulders Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Boulders penguin sanctuary
#summerbreak
The Boulders Penguin Sanctuary can be found about one hour (by car) from the CBD area of Cape Town.
It is a protected site to help conserve the penguins and is a great family attraction. You can walk on the boardwalks above the penguins to observe them without interrupting them. There is also a special area for the baby penguins that are growing up. There are lots of information stands around as well as a gift shop and toilets. #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer
#Boulders Penguin Beach#Simon town #Capetown
Boulders Beach, just outside Cape Town, has so much going for it you will be blown away by the beauty of the small hidden attraction. The sheltered inlet of Boulders Beach is located in the Cape peninsula near Simon's Town. Here exists a protected colony of African penguins which can be viewed in their natural habitat via wooden walkways. There is also an excellent beach for swimming nearby.#penguin #capetown
Meeting all the penguins on the beach in Cape Town should be on your bucketlist!
Seeing penguins in the natural environment is much more comfortable than in a cage. The sidewalks are great for watching penguins in the jungle and beaches. Although overcrowded, it does not affect everyone's mood to watch the penguins. There is a little penguin who completely ignores human beings. When he wants to walk into the crowd, several children follow along the way, so that the power of the wild will restrain their hands from touching or hugging. For animal lovers, this is a very unique experience.
Returning to the Cape Town from the Cape of Good Hope, you can get close to the penguins at Foxy Beach in Simon's Town, which can only be found on the coastline of southern Africa (South Africa and Namibia). It is said that these penguins are currently on the verge of extinction, only about 2,000, so the penguins are protected by Cape Nature Conservation
Tips

Cape Town Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Whether you’re visiting Cape Town in the winter or summer, you cannot miss the iconic Table Mountain towering above the rolling hills that surround it. It dominates the skyline and demands your attention. If you’re visiting Cape Town, I certainly hope you like sunsets. In case it’s not already apparent, there are so many places for spectacular sunset viewing on the Cape. When visiting a city by the ocean, heading to the beach is a no-brainer! But there is something extra special about the beaches in Cape Town… Shh! Don’t tell anyone, but the chilly temperatures of the Atlantic scare away beach-loving tourists, so the spectacular beaches here are never too crowded. And if you’re brave, you can still go for a dip! If you came to the Cape Peninsula to surf, then chances are you’re heading to Muizenberg Beach at some point. Just a short drive from Cape Town, this is where all of the best surfers like to catch waves.

Cape Town in South Africa is a dream destinatio!
With a beautiful waters and landscape. Cape Town is the first thing you want to see when you hit the South African Soil.
Per capita 150 yuan to live in South Africa's own swimming pool villas, it's so cool!
Cape Town has too many good-looking B&Bs, whichever is cost-effective, we came to Simon's Town in Cape Town Let me meet such a magical landlord, their family likes Santorini in Greece too, and bought a house directly at the beach to dress up as Santorini.
When I just got up, I just met the clouds and passed through the mountains. I ate dinner and watched the sunset and dusk. The work was tired and looked up. The blue sky and blue sky cured the fatigue. The house that can see the scenery with this open eye has become my dream.
There are three bedrooms and one living room. The main bedroom is a view of the eye and the bathroom has a special raft.
The kitchen utensils are complete, there are more than five choices for cups and forks, and the cutters are also very sharp, which is very suitable for cooking.
The living room wall is Baker from the seaside. There is a small sailboat in the cupboard. The spacious living room is connected to the open kitchen. Every place where the sun shines in is a fan. Clean and transparent floor to ceiling windows.
A villa with a price of 900 yuan per night, you can stay for 6 people, only 150 yuan per person, great value! !
When parting, the landlord made a special trip to send us and gave us a big parting hug. When she heard our round-the-world trip, she kept saying: fantastic, and I think, like she can Living with freedom and satisfaction is another kind of fantasy.
Cape Town's most beautiful beach sunset! South Africa!! The sea breeze of the Atlantic Ocean, on the third day in Cape Town, waits for a sunset in the wind!

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is a beautiful garden that is situated behind Table Mountain in Cape Town.
There is a lovely information centre in there as well as a visitor shop and lots of information about the plants and animals. The canopy walk gives an insight into what it would be like to live in that layer of the forest and is very interesting. There were groups of people enjoying picnics when we were in there #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog
