Pescheria Le Botteghe

Although it is only half a day to Cabri Island, I still want to have a lunch in this fairy-tale place and then go. Pizza, seafood, red wine, all are suitable for this leisure afternoon atmosphere.

We were the first diners in the restaurant for a 7:30 reservation in late September.  From minute one the service was perfect.  We did the 5 course tasting menu which was incredible.  Very innovative.  Our waiter Pietro was excellent - guided us perfectly through the dinner and was really nice to chat with between courses.  One of our best dinners in Italy.

Within 30 seconds of finishing our starter, our mains arrived. There was literally no time between the two which felt very unpleasant and rushed. That said the quality of the food was absolutely fine.
