Alejandra Gutiérrez is our tour guide and a knowledgeable sommelier. She greeted us with rosé wine, and then we drove through the vineyard in a carriage, and drove onto the footsteps in the carriage. The vineyard used to be a cattle farm, and they found that the microclimate of the vineyard allowed many varieties, so they were able to plant the only Malbec outside of Argentina. Our wine education continues. Chardonnay's malolactic fermentation gives them a buttery taste, and drink a slightly cooled Pinot Noir. We introduced us to a Cabernet Sauvignon that everyone loves (for us). The setting is also very cute!
