Lots of Hiking Available
Went in May. Did the following trails: 1). Heron Trail - pretty flat, good swamp/rookery at end 2). Lakes Trail - steep 3). Forest Ecology Trail - pretty flat, was buggy due to stagnant water 4)....
I've always loved going to Sterling Nature Center for the forest trails, lakeside walks, swimming and exploring. So many trails it's easy to spend hours just wandering & never seeing the same place tw...
Easy hike. Short Orange trail around the lake starts behind the Visitors Center. Respect the private property boundaries and enjoy the serene scenery of the pristine lake.
Due to an impending storm we were only able to walk from the parking area to the lake and along the shore to the Bluffs. Lots of great driftwood and flat rocks on the beach. Numerous people were enjoy...
