I returned to Cebu from Panglao and lived near sm. I came to have a meal first and then went to the hotel. I saw that fast food should be the fastest. I ate their house on the first floor and ordered a sweet and sour fish set meal. I have ice-cola, take the tableware by myself, the fried noodles taste really good, such a set is only 180, which is very cost-effective and fast. Just beside Pizza Hut.
Chaoqun is a local Chinese restaurant chain in the Philippines. It has many branches in Manila and Cebu. In fact, it is a simple Chinese meal, like fried chicken rice set and noodles, as well as roast pork rice set and noodles. The price is very affordable at around 120 pesos. .
Chinese fast food, the taste is not delicious, but it is acceptable. It is not going to be eaten in China, but after eating Filipino barbecue seafood for several days, I suddenly found that a Chinese fast food restaurant is still very pleasant. There are many locals. The combination of fried rice and chaos is quite magical.
Food is ok, maybe a little bit greasy, but in comparison to other fast food restaurants it seem a good choice. Price is also ok.
I tried this fast food place by accident as I wanted to check out a place the locals go. Well, the locals may like it, I just could not digest the food well and ended up with a bad stomach for two days. Not sure if the food was bad or my stomach just wasn't used to it, but I assume it was the first....
I especially like this Chinese fast food restaurant in the Philippines. If you are not used to the barbecue and bbq in the Philippines. There are also nondescript Western fast food. Then you can find your own taste in Chaoqun. Especially Cantonese are easier to adapt. You can find wonton noodles, big buns and so on.
