Chocolate Hills is a peculiar geological structure in the Bohol region of the Philippines. There are 1,776 hills in the area of more than 50 square kilometers. They are covered by a green grass that turns brown during the dry season, just like the color of chocolate, which is why the mountains are named.
Chocolate Hill is a conical rock mountain. It is difficult to grow plants. The green color in the brown color is the source of the name of the Chocolate Mountain. He is also a location in Harry Potter.

I came to Bohol Island six years ago but I didn't come to Chocolate Hills, so this time I have no regrets. It is said that this is also one of the "Harry Potter" location, Harry riding the place where the light wheel 2000 flies, but it is really no impression.
Chocolate Hill is located in the middle of Bohol Island with 1,268 seats. These mountains have had other names until a British teacher came here to see the hills in the dry season because the grass was tanned and the shape was very similar to a foreign chocolate, hence the name chocolate. These chocolate hills are covered with vegetation, mainly a local thatch, wild sugar cane, chrysanthemums and some ferns. The color of these plants changes with the seasons, temperature and rainfall: spring green, summer dark green, early autumn egg yolk, deep autumn yellow red, dry season turns brown brown.
Such a landscape reminds me of Wanfenglin in Guizhou, and is also a Shantou Mountain. I dont know if it would be world famous to rename Wanfenglin to Chocolate Mountain.
The best view overlooking the Chocolate Hills is the top of the parking lot. It takes about 10 minutes to climb up. It is not difficult. The best shooting spots are crowded, and there are many Chinese tourists. Be prepared.

Two million years ago, most of the islands of Bohol were still below sea level, or a cluster of coral reefs. Later, with the change of geology, the deposition of coral and shell fragments gradually rose out of the water. This hillock is the legacy of the ancient ocean. Because there are no big plants on the top of the soil, the green trees can only grow at the foot of the hills, which makes this beautiful scene dotted on the green field. A beautiful paradise.
The car can be driven to the door of the park and needs to climb over a hundred steps to overlook it. Looking down from above, the hills are surrounded by green trees and there are no large plants on them. On the plains of the vast desert, you are lovely. Really like a piece of chocolate, it is like a mushroom that just emerged from the soil. It is full of movement and makes people try to climb the mountain. The viewing platform is a must-see. Many tourists will take two photos of the chocolates here. Such a huge chocolate should only be enjoyed by giants. In fact, the local mythology is that the two giants fight and throw each other with stones, which finally makes this cone-shaped hill.
This must be the most familiar to the fans, because this is one of the locations of Harry Potter. The magical magical world, the lost magical sky, may only be revealed in such an extraordinary place.
