Beautiful Flower Garden in CebuThe Sirao garden is also popularly called a 'Mini Amsterdam' by tourists and visitors because of the world-famous 'Keukenhof' flower garden. It's a good get away from Cebu City, approximately just an hour drive. There are two gardens with an entrance fee of Php 60 each per head. There are lots of flowers, nice spots for taking selfies, structures reproducing landmarks of Holland, etc. My friends and I enjoyed the sceneries although we didn't notice much difference between the two gardens. The place gets quite crowded on weekends and finding a parking space is a bit of a challenge. The road leading to the gardens is also quite narrow. Thus, it's not good for big vehicles. Tourists and locals alike visit the botanical garden for the beautiful garden and other different attractions. It’s an hour’s drive up the hills in Cebu. There are a couple of giant hands and windmills, etc where you can climb on to and take great photos but just be sure you’re not scared of heights. We hired a driver and car to take us there and other tourist sights around the area for 2,500 pesos. Most taxis can also be hired for a day to drive up the mountains of Cebu for all the attractions there. It was well worth it. The driver just patiently waits for you when you are ready to depart for your next destination. Entrance fees for Sirao Garden is 100 pesos per person and parking is 50 pesos.Chai2948

A Perfect Place to Chill and Unwind! Mountain Top attraction in Cebu! Amazing Flower Garden !
Sirao Garden in Cebu is one of newest attractions in the Queen City of the South. Dubbed as Little Amsterdam, Sirao Garden showcases flowers of different colors and varieties, all in full bloom and you can witness it all for a very affordable 50PHP entrance fee. Kids below 4 feet can also get in for free.A small drawback though-- the Garden is not very accessible via public transport. We had to rent a van and take a 30-45 minute drive from the city, tackling the narrow and winding road going to the place. It is all worth the trip though, as you will be greeted by a cold breeze and a good view of the entire city and the ocean as you ascend to the mountain on the way up. There are also food stalls that offer various snacks in case you feel hungry on the way and needed to recharge before you tackle the terraces formed Garden.
Sirao Flower Garden is beautiful however dont go here on a holiday or weekend due to high volume of tourist. Lines in taking pictures were too long.
The place was over-all a true beauty. You really can reconnect and admire mother nature here.
