Guangjimen Gate Tower is located at the west end of Xiangzi Bridge and is the main symbol of Chaozhou City. Guangjimen City is commonly known as the “East Gate Building” in the folk. Guangji Building was built in the 3rd year of Ming Hongwu (1370). It has been repaired in different degrees in different generations. It was rebuilt in the year of the Warlord Era (1931). The Guangjimen Gate Tower is a palace-style three-story restroom at the top of the mountain. The outer gate of the city has the original "East is Wanchun" gate. The building is placed on a tall and thick platform. The front and back are supported by wooden pillars and cross the city wall to become an arcade.
