"The former site of "One Big" of the Chinese Communist Party Qiongya is located at No. 131, Zhulin Street, Jiefang West Road, Haikou. It sits north to south and covers an area of 1839 square meters. It has a quadrangle courtyard layout with two entrances and three east and west wing rooms. It is a typical Hainan residential structure. , The potted tree planted decades ago is now full of pavilions. This was originally the "Qiu Family's Ancestral House." The year the old house was built in 1920 was when the Chinese revolution was beginning to take shape. The Communist Party of China was born in 1921, and three groups of Communist Party members and League members came to Qiong for revolutionary activities. In February 1926, the "CPC Qiongya Special Branch" was established in the "Guandi Temple" in Haikou. The former compound was built in 1920 by Qiu Jueyi, the father of Qiu Bingheng (a famous democrat and former deputy mayor of Haikou). The Qiu family supported the revolution for a long time. After the courtyard was built, it became a place for communists and revolutionaries to carry out activities. In June 1926, the first congress of the CPC Qiongya was held here. In November 1994, the provincial government designated the old revolutionary house as the first batch of provincial cultural relics protection units. In July 2001, the State Council included it in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Now the former site of "One Big" in Qiongya has been officially opened to the outside world as an important base for revolutionary traditional education and patriotism education!"
