Lanna Architecture Center

An interesting peek into traditional architecture with a wonderfully peaceful cafeThis small museum is quite a little gem. It houses some interesting exhibits on Northern Thai architecture and is complemented with a wonderfully peaceful cafe. These are both hidden from the main road and hustle and bustle of city life by a large wall. The staff were really friendly. We can recommend the Thai iced coffee (and the cake too).

The architectural center is a well-preserved historical building in the Lanna period. If the whole attraction is not visited, you can walk slowly for half an hour. You don't need tickets to visit for free, but the wooden floor needs to take off your shoes.

Lanna Architecture Center is a two-storey building in teak architecture. The first floor is the staff office and the second floor is the exhibition room. The second floor is mainly the building model and photos. There are a large number of exhibitions in Thai and English. No tickets are needed for visitors, but they have to take off their shoes.

Khum Chao Burirat Now under the care of the CMU, it is a very complete value. It is well maintained and serves 9.00-16.00 a.m.

A year ago, I did an architectural design exchange between China and Thailand. In particular, two professors of art design and architectural design from Chiang Mai University were invited to exchange discussions with domestic design masters.
