What people are saying:

Certainly a very popular place for Thai people to visit. They are friendly owners and nice ambience overlooking Kok River.

Introduction

Situated at the northeast end of the Grand Palace of Bangkok, Wat Phra Kaew is a frequent destination for tourists from Thailand. After entering the temple, you can see some statues wearing war suits. These statues are Yaksha. They are guards that protect the Wat Phra Kaew from infringement. The jade Buddha is made of a piece of jade, protected by a glass cover, with a multi-layered canopy and a high base.
