Photos of Wat Phra Sing

Wat Phra Singh monastery is located in the north of the block, near the Koku River. The monastery was built in the 14th century and has a long history. It is said that the monastery was built in imitation of the Phra Singh monastery in Chiang Mai. The monastery enshrines the Buddha statue of Phra Singh, and there are murals in the hall of the monastery. These murals are mainly based on local ancient costumes and customs, and they are considered to be the representative works of traditional art in northern Thailand.
