The recommended cafeteria, Red Carpet is a buffet restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of seafood, with crabs, shrimps, and oysters loved by the American people, freshly shipped to serve with a variety of sauces and salad dressings. There are also barbecue beef chops, lamb chops are very special, the waiters are very kind and the price is popular.

I love this restaurant because the food is such a large variety of dinner options: salads, pork, chicken, beef, and many Polish specialties. Fabulous desserts. More expensive on weekend evenings than during the week, but the quality of the food is excellent.

We were in Chicago attending a funeral for a member of my wife&#39;s family. They are of Polish descent. On the day that we were flying back to Canada my wife&#39;s uncle suggested we should try Red Apple as we wouldn&#39;t get much to eat on the flights home. When we pulled up I wasn&#39;t sure what he had brought us to. The building is very unassuming from the outside. Once you step inside it&#39;s like you&#39;ve opened the door to rural Poland. The d&eacute;cor is warm and inviting and the space is clean, open and comfortable. Though it was a buffet we had soup delivered to the table almost as soon as we arrived. It was delicious!! I figured if that was an indicator of what was coming we were in for a real treat. I couldn&#39;t quite see the buffet from where I was sitting but when we went over to it I was overwhelmed. I&#39;d never seen such an incredible assortment. My wife was almost beside herself because she saw dishes that her mom used to make and hasn&#39;t enjoyed in many years. Sorry I&#39;m not educated enough to describe everything we saw but I can assure you there was a significant assortment that would delight almost every palate. I&#39;ve helped the family make cabbage rolls, pierogies and bigos among other things so i have some knowledge about what is good and what is mass produced. This tasted very authentic to me! This is a good Polish food restaurant, with no-frills atmosphere. All-you-can-eat buffet hits a spot for hungry eaters but be aware: this place doesn&#39;t accept credit cards. That was a shocker! Even fast food places, like McDonald&#39;s or Wendy&#39;s take credit cards, these days. Not Red Apple. So, the food is good and you can really taste the Polish cuisine there, but bring cash, because the credit cards are a no-no. The restaurant has a full bar and good coffee, and there is even a dessert buffet (also all you can eat).
