We purchased the CityPass to skip the line, although there wasn't really one. The Museum of Science and Industry is huge and offers plenty to see and do. The U-505 exhibit was the highlight for us. Ta...
I made the guide for all my family, because it was not my first visit and every time I welcome friends or family I take them to this very interesting museum, it tells the story of our industries in Ch...
A lot of the exhibits were shut down or limited due to Covid-19. This is a museum for children. I went with another adult so it was not very engaging. Children would love it!!!
We went here as a rainy day activity on our short visit to Chicago, as kind of a last minute change of plans. Boy were we happy we did! This enormous museum is absolutely fantastic! We really enjoy...
While supposed to be informative for kids, adults will find it a great way to spend the day as well. Interactive parts adds a 3rd dimension to the experience. More to see and do than 1 might think. ...
Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry is the biggest science historical center in the Western side of the equator, lodging tremendous displays that let guests find out about a scope of points by encountering them firsthand. Jump on the Pioneer Zephyr, the main diesel-controlled stainless-steel train; slide into a completely reproduced mine pole to figure out how a sump pump functions; and get very close with monstrous homestead machines. For a more active approach, the Live Science Experiences carry guests into the classroom by taking care of science issues in a public domain. Admirers of science and innovation should discover this the feature of any Chicago trip.

A great place to spend the day, approximately an hours drive from our cottage. Both children and adults will enjoy the museum.
I thought it was amazing specially the science there is so much to do your kids will love it!
An absolute wonderful must-see museum in Chicago. There is so much to see and do here that you could truly spends days here. The big downside here is the distance from the Loop, so be prepared for an expensive Uber and a good drive.
The Museum of Science and Industry is a Chicago icon, and its permanent exhibits are awesome, with tons of rotating ones as well; one of the current rotating exhibits is a really interesting one about the history of nuclear weapons.
Great way to learn about science and everything behind it all! It also teachers about the history of many things and has lots of exhibits to visit and see!
