Little West Lake

Xiaoxihu is located on the east side of Qilihe, between Xijin East Road and Binhe Middle Road. The original Mingsu Wangfu Garden, the name "Xiyuan", has been fought several times. In 1880, Governor Yang Changjun was transferred from Zhejiang to Gan, and was rebuilt again. It was renamed "Xiaoxihu", known as one of the eight ancient scenes of Lanzhou. Also known as "Lianchi Night Moon". Due to historical changes, the original "Little West Lake" gardens have been unable to be restored. In 1982, Lanzhou Municipal Committee and Municipal Government built a comprehensive recreation park with local traditional style - a small West Lake Park in order to restore ancient cultural sites, balance the green space of the city.

＂ Xiaoxihu ＂ is located on Xijin East Road, Lanzhou, formerly Mingsu Wangfu Garden ＂ Xiyuan ＂. After several battles, it was abandoned. In 1880, Governor Yang Changjun entered Gan from Zhejiang and rebuilt it again. In order not to forget the meaning of the local land, he changed his name to: Xiaoxihu. According to the history book: here is a natural lake pond, there are various water birds, fish and shrimp, surrounded by reeds like green yarn tents, and the most beautiful season is when the lotus blossoms are in full bloom, the moonlight in the moonlight here, known as one of the eight ancient scenes of Lanzhou ＂ Lianchi Night Moon ＂. In 1987, a city park integrating history and culture, ecological landscape and leisure sightseeing was built and opened. The park highlights the landscape of the riverside garden, and creates a landscape of Jiuzhou, leaning on the Yellow River, lakes and mountains, and the palace and pavilion are hidden. The park is divided into four water surfaces, including the east side, the middle lake, the west lake and the Liandang pool in Qiongqian, Lidao. It has the local style of the north and the beautiful water town of the south of the Yangtze River.

Due to the epidemic, Xiaoxi Lake closed a few in and out, but I still want to go in and take a walk when I have time. There are indeed a lot fewer tourists, and the scenery is still so good. The old park in this city is really good.

On the weekend, I went to the park in the city, so I entered the small West Lake Park in Qilihe District. In the early winter, the golden ginkgo leaves were also blown down, leaving only bare branches swaying slightly in the cold wind. The pine cypress still showed a dark green after falling gray. The grass is still green, full of dry leaves and wild fruits. The lake has frozen, and occasionally children squat on the lake with folded branches to hit the thin ice as fun. There are still many people exercising and walking.

It is definitely worth a visit. In such a place with a serious lack of water resources in the Great Northwest, there is such a small West Lake. It is simply great. I passed by there twice. Because I have not come down to see and play, it is a pity that I will come to play next time!
