Introduction

Zouhun Bridge, about 300 metres long, is located on the east side of Lugu Lake. There are large amount of reeds growing along the lake. The Zouhun Bridge is a famous attraction around Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people practice the marriage customs of “walking marriage" which meaning that man doesn't get a wife and woman also do not marry to a man. Man can walk to the woman’s house for the night over this bridge, so the bridge is also called the "first love bridge under the heaven”.
