Fuyin Church (West Gate)

The Christian Gospel Church in Jiangbei District, Chongqing, was originally located at No. 164, Jiangbei City Main Street, Jiangbei District, Chongqing. Previously, the American missionary and Chongqing Kuanren Hospital, the dean Ma Jiali sent people to buy a paved area on Jiangbei College Street, preaching in the name of practicing medicine. Because of conflict with the local people, the church received compensation. The Methodist Church built the Gospel Church and Jiangbei Medical Museum. Ma Jiali was the first pastor of Jiangbei Gospel Church.

The Gospel Church is a Gothic-style church located in the Central Park of Jiangbei City, Chongqing. The Gospel Church in Jiangbei City was rebuilt in 2006 due to the demolition of Jiangbei City. The new Gospel Church near the original site opened on December 1, 2009, with a total construction area of 1430 square meters and a church area of 700 square meters. In 1876, American missionary Ma Jiali (later the president of Chongqing Kuanren Hospital) sent people to buy a paved street in Jiangbei College to preach and build a church in the name of practicing medicine. The church was destroyed in conflict with the local people (history called "Jiangbei Catholicism"). In the 1890s, the church was rebuilt with the Gospel Church of Restitution, and Majiali was the first pastor. There are dozens of stone piers next to the Gospel Church, which is also interesting to see.
