Huaiyuan Ancient Town has a history of 1600 years, and the ancient town is not big. Most of the buildings in the ancient town were built in the Qing Dynasty and later, while maintaining the pattern of four gates and four streets, with more than 30 existing streets. Most of the buildings are built in accordance with the "Ministry of Industry of the Qing Dynasty", and most of the buildings are made of wood. The more than 20 streets and alleys criss-crossing are full of silk and satin shops, tea shops, bamboo weaving shops, and drugstores... When there is a single-day market, the town is very lively. Huaiyuan's famous "three weaving": rattan, palm, and bamboo. There are skilled craftsmen in almost every household. Rattan, palm, and bamboo become a work of art in the hands of those old people. In Huaiyuan Town, not only can you see the complete wooden pavement of the piercing structure houses, but there are also many architectural decorations such as door openings and wood carvings that should be very beautiful in the past. The Lin's Ancestral Hall in the ancient town is an ancestral hall built in the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. The main building of this ancestral hall is well-preserved to this day. It completely preserves the rare pure Nanmu ancestral hall god cabinet plate in the city.
