UNESCO World Heritage-Cultural Site
Old Havana is one of the modern boroughs in contemporary Havana. It forms the core of the original city of Havana and is today still demarcated by portions of the original Havana city walls. Old Havana is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Popular attractions here include the Malecon, Castillo del Morrao, the National Capitol, and others. There is much to admire in Old Havana and walking through the streets and narrow alleyways is a fantastic way to get a sense of this historic city.
