"City Park"

"I found out that there is a famous landscape MFO Park in Zurich through my mobile phone. I did not hesitate to take a train from Luxemburg to Zurich North Station. It was still raining in Luxem in the morning, and Zurich in the afternoon was clear and sunny. The MFO Park, designed by the Swiss design firm Burckhardt+Partner, is located next to the Oerliker train station in the new town north of Zurich. The park is a "green square box" covering an area of about 1 hectare, surrounded by 7-storey residential buildings. The park was once a factory. The revolutionary design plan of this park turns the traditional ground park into a three-dimensional green public space, and at the same time it has a large area of activity venues and a landscape effect with a high green rate. The park was completed in 2002 and after more than ten years of development, it has now become a kingdom of vines. Surrounded by buildings, MFO Park has a square metal grid and is covered with green plants. It is completely open to the outside world, accessible from all directions. Different specifications of section steel and various forms of link pieces, covered with different colors of climbing plants. The three-story platform overlooks the ground. The sun platform on the roof, the center of the wooden platform is distributed with groups of reclining chairs, which is a good place for sunbathing. The gaps between the wooden slats are quite large, and the metal platforms and stair panels on the lower floors are also metal mesh panels with large gaps. This undoubtedly makes the space more transparent and the light penetrates more. However, it is a challenge for people with acrophobia."
