After taking the 96 bus from the city center to the riverside/los felis, we started to visit this pleasant neighborhood by the magnificent muhlan memorial fountain. The fountain honors William Mulholland, who designed and supervised the 233-mile aqueduct that introduced water to arid cities more than a century ago. We continued our walk along the beautiful winding path. We saw Walt Disney in the First House of Los Angeles and then continued on to the fantastic Lovell Health House from which to enjoy panoramic views of the city. Ennis House is an architectural wonder. Designed by the famous Frank Lloyd Wright, it is worth a visit. Along the way we gazed at the Griffith Observatory and followed a path where we ended the morning enjoying the massive buildings and the sights inside.
Neat little neighborhood of LA, but watch out for the hipsters.
It is very busy on weekends and you can get a little bit of a buzz and experience it
