My purpose of this trip was to calm myself down before returning to Northern California for six and a half hours, watching the waves, watching the gulls, hearing the cheerful sounds of people frolicking on the beach. Glad I brought my portable easel and acrylic paint to paint this tranquil place. There are plenty of vehicles and beautiful mountain views over the Pacific fence area. I even helped a family who accidentally locked their keys in the car. I think there is more than one reason I went there. The beach is also very clean. Highly recommended. Parking fee is reasonable too

Area was lacking support facilities like bathrooms, food places etc. Sea weeds was all over the beach was full of rocks as well. Life guard was available on-site however I am not planning to visit the same place again.
The beach is located between Venice and Malibu, relatively few people, and definitely one of the best beaches. The Pacific Ocean you see here is as flat as you think, the white sand beach is very flat, the view is clear, and you can see the horizon. Parking seems to be a problem for many tourists, but ignore them. Parking costs $9 - this is in California - but you can get to the beach immediately, parking is only a few steps away from the beach, you can find free parking on the street, and finally you have to walk several streets with something special to come. It’s a waste of time and energy!
Very clean beach, pleasant climate, and not particularly crowded, perfect for walking.
Located on the north side of Santa Monica, Will Rogers State Beach is very close to the city centre, but less crowded than other beaches. It's not crowded at all. It's also the most suitable beach for swimming and diving in California. Don't miss it.
