Nice place to visit. However, currently it is positioned West of Collobieres on the Tripadvisor map, right next do the D14 road (July 2023). It is not there!
About 11km from collobrieres. A remote setting and an interesting self guided tour of parts of the building and insight into its history and the continuing religious order who reside.
Whichever way you go it's a long drive along narrow roads through the Maures Massif. Locals in cars, vans and lorries don't slow down, so be warned! Once there the car park is a ten minute walk from t...
Friends volunteering in that place suggested we go visit. This is a place to visit at least once. Since 1170 when it was built to now there were many destructions and reconstructions of the monastery....
