Cloud Gate is a public art sculpture by an Indian-born British artist, r, in Chicago's Millennium Park. It was built between 2004 and 2006 because of its pod shape, nicknamed "pod." The sculpture is welded together by 168 stainless steel plates, and it is polished below the surface and can not see the seams. The size is 10 meters X20 meters X13 meters, weighing 100 tons. Kapoor's design was inspired by liquid helium, which reflects and distorts the city's outline. Visitors can walk under the 4-meter-high arch of the Cloud Gate.

Cloud Gate, as a symbol of Chicago art, as a symbol of Millennium Park, should be the cap of Kapoor. The 360-degree stereoscopic seamless welding technology presents an artistic mirror that reflects the surrounding building population in a pea-like artwork.
Its actually a worth while little stop cos the bean is situated right between some really cool buildings and you can get some iconic photos and the walk around that area is really cool. You dont even need to walk in any specific dirction the whole area is cool
White-looking structures, designers with a big hole in the brain, stainless steel seams are well polished, and many later imitated it, are not as comfortable as this, how to see it is different.
one of the popular joints in chicago and a center for meeting new people and making good friends.
it is like a big silver boble can pop anytime, so neat look and see youself inside at top reflection!
there were a lot of people who seem really interested in the visual effects of this little stainless steel object.
Did u go to Chicago if u did not come here?
