It is built on a floor plan in the shape of a Latin cross, with a main nave and two side aisles above. The choir faces east, with an transept and seven radiating chapels on either side. This architectural style was very popular at the time and was a typical representative of Romanesque architecture. The interior decoration of this church is very magnificent, with exquisite stained glass windows.
