The magical Korong National Park is a lagoon. The park stretches 145 kilometers along the coastline from Alexandrina Lake to Kingston SE. There are many waterbirds inhabiting and rich in resources. In the 19th century, the Korong area was fed A large number of aborigines, and their lives are still closely linked to Kurong.
On the last day of self-driving from Melbourne to Adelaide, I passed the coorong national park. Before, I only knew the most famous section of the Great Ocean Road. In fact, after the Great Ocean Road, the route from Mount Gambier to Adelaide was good. This limestone milky white lake It’s beautiful, the photos we took here are beautiful
I want to hold my lover’s hand and walk on the soft white sandy beach, and just walk on till the end of the world...Kurong National Park has a long and narrow terrain, and the coastal sand dunes stretch endlessly. The inner lagoon has a variety of birds, indigenous shell mounds and cemeteries are dotted, and the culture is profound. You can enjoy bird watching, fishing, camping and hiking here, or go on an ecological cruise or canoeing to enjoy a romantic time with your lover!
Facing the sun in Adelaide, we set off and ended in Melbourne thousands of miles away. The first section of the self-driving car was the Limestone Coast. The whole family went to the supermarket the evening before to buy cooked food and fruits for our breakfast, and One of the many advantages of traveling together with parents is that they never have to worry about food. Everyone is full of praise for the road conditions. The Australians’ non-inking driving habits also make me enjoy driving. My parents are happy to admire the South Pacific on the left bank. With turbulent waves, I admired the magnificent mountains of South Australia on the right bank. Unknowingly, our SUV has entered the territory of Coorong National Park, with high sand dunes, shallow lagoons and long narrow wetlands. Kurong is an internationally recognized bird sanctuary, and pan-canoe fishing is a must-do here.
Uninhabited park Kurong is recognized as a bird protection park in Australia, on the edge of the Indian Ocean. There is nothing to say about the scenery, and there is a large area of water inside, you can boat and fish. The sand dunes, lakes and wetlands of the Kurong International Park still occupy a large area. Because of the large area, the landforms here are richer. Driving a car in the park, the scenery outside is constantly changing. From the dry sand dunes to the muddy wetlands, it did not last long. We may not be right when we came. Anyway, we didn’t see anyone in the park, as if we were in a restricted area, but the sky here is very pure. You can see small boats by the water, and there are two or three people paddling on it. I was too lazy to row and gave up this project, but we got off the car and found a good place to observe the birds, but we saw colorful birds flying around. Camping time Kurong can camp. We know this, and we have planned for this early. Because I came by car, it is very convenient to bring things, such as tents, warm sleeping bags, electric lights, etc., because I I wanted to camp in the wild for a long time. Domestic camping is just a little trouble, and here I feel like I am really surviving in the wilderness, thieves are exciting! At night, you can see a lot of stars, which is a beautiful scenery that you can't enjoy in a big city, and many birds are drinking by the lake. Very unforgettable~ Note 1. This side is very big, and you may have to run and break your leg if you don’t have a car. 2. Camping is possible, but you must make an appointment in advance and get permission.
