Amazing place to be soft clean sand and what a beautiful view of the ocean
Beautiful beach that is easy to get to by bus or train, but can get crowded at times.
One of the most well-known beaches in the whole of Perth, Cottesloe Beach is located north of Fremantle and in one of the city’s most salubrious areas. The beach is always busy but it’s a lovely place to come for a swim. Every year, the council hosts the Sculptures by the Sea competition, where the state’s best sculptors display their art along the shore. It’s a great time to visit and explore these pieces – some of them are quite unusual!
This is not the best beach you'll ever go to, but it is nice. We were there with every Western Australia teenager and her friend - but it was during school holiday. It was fun to see the kids out in full force, but made for noisy, busy beach experience. There are plenty of yummy places to eat and get beer near to the beach, and it's very accessible by transit. Worth checking out!
