Zhang Xun, courtesy name Shaoxuan, a native of Fengxin in Jiangxi Province, a Beiyang warlord, known as "braided handsome". At the end of the Qing Dynasty, he served as the admiral of Yunnan, Gansu, and Jiangnan; after the 1911 period, he served as the governor of Jiangsu and the patrol of the Yangtze River. Zhang Xun's former residence is located at No. 6 Pukou Road, Hexi District. It starts from Taierzhuang Road in the east, Jiangsu Road in the west, Pukou Road in the south, and Bengbu Road in the north. It is a large courtyard residence. There are 56 buildings and 54 bungalows, with a construction area of 5,632 square meters. Deep in the courtyard are two two-story villa-style buildings with brick and wood structures, hardwood doors and windows, and aluminum-iron pointed roofs. There is a hexagonal pavilion on the left side of the courtyard, a pool and an evergreen flower bed in the middle, a horizontal rockery at the entrance, and a long-dragon-shaped rockery in the backyard. The whole building has a reasonable layout and a quiet environment. The most distinctive feature is the gardens of the building, including rockery, pavilions, lotus ponds, stone bridges, cruise ships, birds and animals, flowers, etc., all of which are fine works of garden art.

In 1884 (Guangxu Decade), he joined the army in Changsha, formerly known as Zhang He, Shaoxian, Songshou, Zhongwu, Fengxin County, Jiangxi Province, modern Beiyang warlord and modern militarist. He was appointed Governor of Yunnan, Gansu and Jiangnan in the late Qing Dynasty. After the 1911 Revolution, he served as governor of Jiangsu Province and ambassador to the Yangtze River. After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, in order to show loyalty to the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Xun forbade cutting his braids and was called a braid commander.
