This is a military defensive building, which is adjacent to the seaside. It is also one of the good places for defense in the open sea. Here you can feel a lot of military facilities, and there are many defensive voids.

Located at the end of the northern section of Valletta, it was built as a fortification by the Knights of St. John from 1670 to 1693. It has been used as a fortress during the British colonization. After the British retreat, the fort was abandoned, and the National War Museum was built around it. At present, places outside the museum are not open to the public.
