On a beautiful day we took the ferry; it takes longer than driving but is fun. The view is gorgeous, the ride is smooth, and it. breaks up a drive.

If you haven't taken a car ferry before it is pretty cool. The ride doesn't take long, but is still long enough to get out of the car and enjoy the lake scenery and visit with other riders.
