Fuk Tak Chi Museum

When I visited near the Niushuiche, I saw that Fudexuan means the land Gonggong Temple. This place is not big. The style of its architecture is almost the same as the style of the temple in the Chaoshan area in southern Anhui. It is related to the Chinese structure here.

The building was the Ford Temple from the early nineteenth century to 1994. After its closure, the building was transformed into a museum. In a small area of the history of early Chinese immigrants to Singapore, ancestral temples were all places where immigrants sought to commemorate their ancestors. There are many ancient Chinese cultural relics to see.

In fact, the Ford Temple Museum is the oldest and oldest Chinese temple in Singapore. Now it has become a museum. The main exhibits show the changes of life and labor of Chinese immigrants who came to Singapore more than 200 years ago. The way to show them is a scenario model.
