We got a behind the scene peak at how they make their glass art. Just amazing. The skill from years of blowing glass into art pieces was evident, true craftsman. After watching the demonstration, we visited their showroom. A lot of expensive stuff here, but also some reasonably priced item. My aunt bought a rooster as a gift to my brother.Tip: see if you can have it shipped to you back home. That rooster took up a big chunk of my luggage. Lol.

We visited the Old Murano Glass Museum and Factory and watched a master glass blower show why he was a master at his craft.
The Murano Glass Museum displays various glass works from the centuries of the island's history. What I found most incredible was how the pieces of glass don't age. An emerald-colored chandelier from the 1700's looks just as new as when it was first created. Definitely a good stop before touring the glass shops on the island.
When we came here, besides the regular exhibition, there was also a modern glass art exhibition. The total ticket price was 10 Euros, which felt very worthless. There are not many things, there is no introductory text in the exhibition hall, and the exhibits are not as exquisite and gorgeous as imagined. The sense of history and local characteristics are not found here. To be honest, if you must come to Murano, it is better to find a better glass factory like a tour group to watch the live production and buy your favorite glass products.
At that time, an old craftsman was on the scene to show everyone the process of making glass crafts, which was a rare show. He took out a piece of red-burning glass material from the stove, clamped it with pliers, and blew it with his mouth. After a while, he made a small vase. The craftsmanship was very good. After the performance, enter the finished product sales counter, it is really dazzling, but the price is not cheap.
