Hanbat Arboretum

Hanba Arboretum is located in the middle of the Central Government Daejeon Office Building and the Expo Science Park. It is surrounded by Daejeon Art Hall, Pyeongsong Youth Cultural Center, Li Yinglu Art Museum, and Municipal Art Museum. It can be described as the center of culture and art, exuding a strong cultural atmosphere under the background of the Arboretum. Hanba Arboretum is connected with the green space axis of Daejeon Government Building and Science Park, and constitutes the largest urban artificial arboretum in Korea. The Arboretum preserves the genes of various plants, provides a place for young people to experience nature, and provides a rest space for citizens to fully enjoy nature. There are the West Garden (the north side of the Municipal Art Museum) and the East Garden (the north side of the Hiramatsu Training Institute) consisting of 19 themes, including South Gate Square, Magnolia Garden, Medicinal Botanical Garden, Rock Garden, and Orchard Garden.
