This status looks to be holding up the cliff. And the back story about it having more to it before being bombed in WW2 is interesting. Certainly worth a look.
A huge sculpture craved into the side of the cliff at the end of the beach in Monterossa. Very impressive, 14 metres in height. Worth the walk along the beach to see.
