Shapu Winery was established in 1852 and is one of the oldest wineries in Australia. The scale here is very large and it feels like a park. There are beautiful garden buildings, fountains, pools and statues. At the same time, there are several very large wine cellars, and you can smell the strong aroma of wine as soon as you enter it, which is intoxicating.
Shapu Winery is also one of the oldest wineries in the Barossa Valley. The cellar of this winery is the largest in the entire Barossa Valley. It is filled with thousands of large oak barrels. The scent of wine came out. The winery is like a big park, man-made waterfalls, gardens, sculptures, all the elements that should be in the park are here, and it is a winery that is very worth visiting.
Beautiful art on display in a lovely historic building. Located on the stunning grounds of Seppeltsfield, it makes for a lovely location to visit.
An eclectic collection of art and crafts with many of the artists having their workshops on site and there to show you their pieces and skills in person. A lovely addition to Seppelsfield.
A great spot for local artists to display their pieces. You can find some impressive work and also chat to the artists who produce them while watching them create their masterpieces. I would recomme...
Not only are there some impressive pieces in the gallery but you can tour the complex and speak with the artisans. If you love art in all its forms this is a must.
Lovely displays of local artists products esp. glassware, wooden, metal & resin works. Even got to see artists at work with leather, jewellery & ceramics. Definitely worth a visit.
