Lao She Memorial Hall

Jinan Laoshe Memorial Hall is located at 58 Nanxin Street, Lixia District, Jinan City, and was the residence of Mr. Laoshe when he taught at Qilu University from 1931 to 1934. The exhibition of Jinan Laoshe Memorial Hall takes the theme of Mr. Laoshe's life creation in Jinan as the theme, and is divided into three parts: "People's Artist", "Laoshe's Footprint in Jinan", "Laoshe's Jinan", and the restoration of the landscape part, which records Mr. Laoshe's life footprint in Jinan.

1. Laoshe Memorial Hall is located at 12 Old College Street, Jinan. It is a north-south street from the southwest of Qiuliu Poetry Club in Daming Lake. In the 1930s, many "luxury houses" appeared in the ancient urban area. One of them is "Zhangjiayuan" on College Street, which is composed of three independent parallel houses: No. 12, No. 14 and No. 3 Zengjiaqiao. After the completion of the new scenic spot of Daming Lake, this street has only been reserved for 12, and now it has been renovated as the Laoshe Memorial Hall. 2. From the beginning of 1930 to Jinan, to the early autumn of 1934, Lao She spent four unforgettable years in Jinan. During this period, Lao She married his wife and gave birth to children, and spent the best time of his life. So Lao She called Jinan "Second Hometown" affectionately in many articles. During this period, Lao She's creativity broke out, leaving behind a large number of works describing Jinan, "Daming Lake", "Autumn of Jinan", "Winter of Jinan" and so on. 3. Lao She Memorial Hall. At the end of the corridor is a statue of Lao She. On the left door, there is a gold inscription inscribed by Laoshe's wife Hu Tiaoqing.
