Jinan Jingsi Road Christian Church, referred to as Jingsi Road Church, is one of the seven existing Christian churches in Jinan (Jingsi Road Church, Houzaimen Church, Nanshangshan Street Church, Yuzhongli Church, Guanzhuan Church, Sanlizhuang Church, Weidong Church). Located at 425 Jingsi Road, Huaiyin District, Jinan City. The southern facade of the church was originally the Shandong Chinese Christian Self-supporting Church Chapel, built in 1924, completed in 1926, covering an area of 1.33 million square meters, construction area 1763.40 square meters, is the largest Christian church in Jinan, and is also one of the landmark buildings in Jinan Shangyu District. Jinan Jingsi Road Christian Church (Jingsi Road Christian Church, Tsinan), the first Christian building invested, designed and built entirely by the Chinese people, has been managed by Chinese pastoral personnel since its completion, its designer is Li Honggen, the son of Li Daohui, the first Chinese priest of the former temporary chapel. The construction builders are Yang Changli, Yang Changzhen, Taiwanese builders. The church's bottom floor is Maoshi wall, the second floor is clear water red brick wall, red tile roof, bright colors, the facade is simple and solemn, based on the Renaissance architectural techniques, and integrates some forms of traditional Chinese architecture (such as using a lot of rectangular doors and windows, Instead of the semicircular arched doors and windows used in the West), it is integrated with the design style of the Western-style architecture in the entire Shangyu area. The church was originally a chapel of Chinese Christianity. Construction began in 1924 and completed in 1926. The building area is more than 1,300 square meters. The church was spectacular in appearance, and the shape absorbed the design style of the Western-style buildings of Jinan Shangyu. The interior was simple, spacious and bright, and it could accommodate about 1,300 people for religious activities. When the church was being built, General Feng Yuxiang made a donation and inscribed the words, the eight words he inscribed "Jesus Christ is the corner stone", engraved on the stone on the east side of the church, as the first cornerstone of the entire building. The inscription on the stone in the "Cultural Revolution" was destroyed. Now, people re-carved according to the stone scars and the original extensions reserved in Tai'an, Feng Yuxiang's residence, eight pale gold words, quietly hidden in the autumn sun in a canopy of green grass.
