The area is small and it introduces the maritime history of Malta. There are anchors and cannons at the door, but this museum does not seem to be open during our stay in Vittoriosa. The Grand Harbour in front of the museum is a good place for running, cycling, relaxing and blowing the sea breeze. There are not many people, so you can enjoy the quiet and leisurely feeling of Malta. From Vittoriosa, you can take No. 2 bus to and from Valletta, or you can take a ferry, which is more direct and convenient.
