    Cornish History

The Cornish Miner monument is very prominent as you arrive into Kapunda and worth a stop to see a little of the history of Kapunda and the olethe Cornish miners played in mining copper way back.

Lovely welcome to the town of Kapunda!

Lovely unusual way to welcome people to the town! Includes info about Map and the mining history of the town. Also includes place to sit and enjoy it.

Charming Way to Enter the Town

A large statue of one of the old Cornish Miners that originally settled in the region. Stands amongst the ruins of some buildings. Also has a rest area here as well. Quite lovely actually.
