We learned about this place at the information center but didn’t see any website mention it, which is a pity because it’s amazing. We tried all kinds of tropical fruits (included in the tickets) and saw what they looked like growing on trees. Our guide provided a lot of useful knowledge and a special understanding of the various fruits. Highly recommended to come here to play while in Langkawi! It is a very interesting place for people who come here to see and learn how tropical fruits grow. As many people write, this is not a farm, but a state-owned agricultural research and development center. They do not produce fruit for commercial sale. The guide explained to us that we stopped many times along the way, and we were able to taste fresh fruit and have the opportunity to feed fish in the pond. This visit was a very relaxing and fun experience. I don’t understand why there are tourists who have bad reviews for this attraction.

Great visit to the ''orchard''.The first time I heard about it, I was pretty much reluctant to go. Langkawi is known mainly for its beaches and cable cars. I questioned myself if i needed to go to an agrotech place. To my surprise, this place has plenty to offer especially if you are bored with the typical touristy things in Langkawi. The ticket included a ride on seated truck, fruits tasting and orchard tour. This is the place to go if you want to see and experience local fruits. As the fruits are seasonal, you can see different types of fruits growing on trees. There are rambutans, durians, mangosteens, jackfruits and other smaller fruits (some unheard of). Our tour master was Mr Megat Azuan, he has good knowledge of the trees and was very entertaining -has some steep sense of humour and made us some origami grasshoppers with the palm leaves.
