Standing in a cemetery and realizing the sacrifices the ones buried there have made. Their sacrifices allowed us to have the freedoms that we have in our country..
We were there for a family funeral. They were very prompt and waiting for our party to arrive. The grounds are well kept. They still have several building that were from the civil war.
This VA cemetery is well maintained. They have rules in place insuring that cleanliness and uniformity is provided. There is an air of respect and peace.
Tonight I got to see the cemetery glowing with solar lights placed on all of the graves. It was truly a heart-wrenching experience. You cannot visit after dark but the lights can be seen as you dri...

A large well kept National Cemetery
Very moving experience. Really made me think of all the service people who gave their lives that we might be a free country
